Job Description

Job Summary: 

A Client Development Officer is responsible for applying the Firm's guidelines, vision, and financial outline to drafting proposals. The proposals are usually created under a pressing deadline. You will be working with colleagues in the Client Development Department, lawyers, and the Managing Partner of the Firm.

As the Client Development Officer, you will work to edit and design proposal documents. You will ensure that the established template is followed. You will also work with the proposal team to ensure that deadlines are met. In many situations, you could be working on multiple proposals at the same time. Finally, you will be responsible for communicating the progress of proposals to management.

The successful candidate must have excellent command of both written and spoken Arabic and English with superior attention to details and accuracy. Energetic, well-organized, independent, hard-working, goal-oriented, dedicated and reliable.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Drafting Proposals as requested by Senior Partners and/or Partners using agreed upon templets.
  • Coordinating with the liaison attorneys on the technical parts of the Proposal.
  • Daily follow up on all incoming e-mails and coordinate with Client Development Manager on the action to be taken regarding each e-mail to avoid any delay and ensure meeting the client’s request in a timely manner.
  • Filing all the correspondences related to each Proposal.
  • Adding all sent Proposal in the Department’s log.
  • Follow up and reply to Proposals from the Clients.
  • Coordinate with the Billing Department regarding all accepted Proposals to make sure that they have entered into the Firm’s billing system. 
  • Maintaining “proposals in progress log”. 
  • Assist in evaluating and updating resources for writing proposals.

Key knowledge:

  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken Arabic and English
  • Degree related to writing and experience in the field of marketing / proposal writing and editing is a plus 
  • Excellent computer skills “Word, Excel & Outlook”.

 

Job Specifications: 

  • Required Education:
  • Graduate of a notable international school.
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing or English Literature or equivalent from a notable university.
  • Experience: from 3 to 5 years of proven work experience in positions requiring good writing skills
  • Gender: Male or Female

 

Working conditions:

  • Contract: Full-time
  • Working hours: 8 hours - with flexibility to occasionally work late. 
  • Rest Days: Friday & Saturday
