Job Description
- Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy.
- Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of supply chain management function as well as the planning and directing of activities and operations of the business.
- Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, shipment and delivery, and returns on products.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline process and improve accuracy and efficiency within operations.
- Develop, implement and sustain our system to ensure on time in full delivery to our customers.
- Manage current and long-term forecast projections to drive product and inventory planning goals.
- Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the supply chain perspective.
- Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers.
- Organize and oversee inventory by keeping a detailed database of available inventory and expected usage per month.
- Research partner companies and seek to negotiate best-price contracts to increase business revenue.
- Control inventory and delivery processes.
- Oversee product storage, handling and distribution.
- Manage the costs involved while maintaining quality
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams.
- Determine key supply chain KPIs.
- Suggest solutions for process improvements.
- Manage and motivate a team of supply chain staff
- Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Train and evaluate others.
- Provide constructive feedback.
- Work with finance, sales, and purchasing team to determine best vendors and distributors
- Implement new technologies and stay alert to new trends and developments in the sector.
Job Requirements
- BA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar relevant field is preferable.
- Hands on experience with supply chain management at least 5 years
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
