Assist lead educators in planning and implementing play-based learning activities that foster children’s curiosity and development.
Support the creation of a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment for children of diverse backgrounds.
Observe and document children’s progress, behaviours, and developmental milestones to inform individualized learning approaches.
Encourage and facilitate positive social interactions among children, promoting respect, empathy, and cooperation.
Assist with daily routines, including snack time, outdoor activities, toileting, etc…
Communicate effectively with team members and management
Collaborate with team members to develop and adapt curriculum materials that reflect children’s interests and needs.
Model and reinforce appropriate behavior and classroom expectations in alignment with school policies.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions to enhance teaching practices.
Support children with additional needs, ensuring all learners are included and engaged in classroom activities.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting.
A passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and colleagues.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Understanding of play-based and child-centered learning approaches.
Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in a dynamic classroom setting.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Ability to observe, document, and report on children’s progress effectively.
Physical ability to engage in activities with young children, including lifting, bending, and sitting on the floor.
