Job Description

  • Proven ability to meet deadline in a fast-changing environment.
  • Very good communication skills with suppliers and all related parties. 
  • Ability to maintain strong communication with (Suppliers, brokers, Freight forwards, insurance companies…).
  • Coordinating with FF to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
  • Negotiate pricing, maximize profit margin, and minimize fees (Ex: Freight rates, DTHC, storage/demurrage free days and fees….) to ensure the best possible cost and developing "win-win" strategies .
  • Coordinate logistic processes to ensure proper shipments delivery.  
  • Receive and accurately review shipping docs from the suppliers for every shipment. 
  • Organizational skills and Keeping documents and files for all transactions for easy information access.
  • Handle with the suppliers receiving of the original shipping documents whether directly or through the bank, before the vessel arrival. 
  • Managing an efficient operation by tracking the shipments to ensure timely, accurate and cost-effective delivery of them. 
  • Coordinating with customs delegate, freight forwarders, and other third parties to arrange shipping of goods. 
  • Arrange shipments pickup from suppliers &coordinate with freight forwarder to arrange delivery of cargo. 
  • Coordinate shipments with customs delegate and making sure from the compliance with the customs authorities requirements and regulations for the imported commodity. 
  • Ensures adherence to local & international trade compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business parties. 

Job Requirements

  • Experience needed: 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Education : Bachelor's degree.
  • Fully aware with NAFEZA platform and getting ACID no.
  • Attention to details.
  • Collaborative teamwork .
  • Manage and support daily expedite requests .
  • Multitask person and have good time management skill.
  • English fluency is a must.
  • Microsoft office skills (Excel, word, power point).
  • Past experience working in Importing company .
  • Very good email writing skills.
