Job Description
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 1-4 years.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that foster language development, social skills, and cognitive growth.
- Monitor and assess each child’s progress, providing regular feedback to parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and support the overall curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student development.
- Communicate effectively with parents, addressing concerns and celebrating milestones.
- Support the organization of special events, camps, and after-school activities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching English to young children in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in early years education.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
