Job Description
- Ensure all raw materials meet Midea’s quality standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct incoming material inspections and laboratory testing as required.
- Monitor supplier performance and collaborate with procurement to resolve material quality issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of material certificates, approvals, and test results.
- Work closely with production teams to secure timely material supply and avoid downtime.
- Support R&D in testing and approving new materials for mass production.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions for raw material nonconformities.
- Assist in audits (internal, customer, and certification bodies) related to raw materials.
- Promote safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to Midea’s global standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in raw materials, quality control, or supply chain (preferably in manufacturing/industrial sector).
- Knowledge of raw material testing, handling, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally.
- Detail-oriented with strong sense of accountability.
