Job Description
Be able to teach the following topics for adult learners:
Understanding of the practices and processes used by a junior or associate data analyst in their day-to-day job.
Analytical skills (data cleaning, analysis, & visualization) and tools (spreadsheets, SQL, R programming, Tableau).
How to clean and organize data for analysis, and complete analysis and calculations using spreadsheets, SQL and R programming.
How to visualize and present data findings in dashboards, presentations and commonly used visualization platforms.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience as data analysis Instructor
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
