We are currently recruiting for Quantity Surveyor to be based out of their office in Dubai.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cost estimating: Quantity Surveyors are responsible for estimating the costs of construction projects. They must analyze project plans and specifications, and factor in material and labor costs, as well as any other expenses associated with the project.
- Contract administration: Quantity Surveyors manage contracts for construction projects, including negotiating and drafting contracts, as well as ensuring that all parties are complying with the terms of the contract.
- Budget management: Quantity Surveyors manage project budgets and ensure that projects are completed within budget constraints. They must track costs and expenditures, and make recommendations for cost savings where possible.
- Risk management: Quantity Surveyors must identify potential risks associated with a project and develop strategies to mitigate those risks. This can include assessing project risks related to safety, design, and construction.
- Quality control: Quantity Surveyors are responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet quality standards, and that materials and workmanship are of high quality.
- Dispute resolution: Quantity Surveyors may be called upon to resolve disputes related to construction projects, including disputes related to contracts, budget overruns, and delays.
- Project management: Quantity Surveyors may also be responsible for managing construction projects from start to finish, including overseeing the work of contractors and subcontractors, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring that projects are completed on schedule.
