Job Description

• Responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
• Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility, while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
• Oversees the manufacture of products, including materials procurement and vendor management, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Prepare the shop production order, cut list & specify each machine load.
•  Ensuring all workers maintain productivity and staying on delegated tasks.
• Coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring load lists Confers with Project Manager to coordinate activities with other organizational units and prioritizing work product.
• Take steps to solve the production problems and improve the performance.
• Scheduling all jobs loaded to factory based on: Job complexity – Machine limitations - Material Availability - Job priority.
• Follow up all jobs during the fabrication processes, to avoid any problems during shipping.
•  Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
• Share a trusting relationship with work group and recruit, manage and develop plant staff.
• Collect and analyze data to manage overtime.
• Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements.
• Review DWGs / BOM & check order to be sure it matches with Machines Limitations & Material Availability.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years experience as a manager in steel structure & Pressure Vessels 
  • Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources).
  • Familiar with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
  • Knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong team building, decision-making, and people management BS degree in engineering or related field.
