Job Description
- 3D modelling furniture pieces
- Creating technical drawings
- Design furniture and produce clear coherent shop drawings viable for manufacturing
- Designing fully functioning products,
- Conducting market research and studying product specifications
- Create moodboards and sketches for schematic design
- Designs furniture for manufacturing, according to the knowledge of design trends, offerings of competition, production costs
- Prepares and directs preparation of blueprints containing manufacturing specifications, such as dimensions, kind of wood, and upholstery fabrics to be used in manufacturing.
- Stay updated with competition (design, trends and market demand)
- Manage showroom styling and interior design
- Consult with management, design team, marketing, and sales new design ideas and suggestions
Job Requirements
- BA in product/ furniture design, applied arts.
- Home and furniture experience.
- Professional skillset on Design process and CAD tools
- Innovation & creativity skills
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong visual awareness and an eye for detail
- Be inventive and imaginative
- Be passionate about furniture.
- AutoCAD and 3d max, rhino or any similar software Proficiency
- Having an eye for color and taste
