Job Description
Ariston Egypt is looking to hire an “Accounting Specialist”, he/She will work in Administration Finance and accounting department in Ariston Egypt, being subordinated to the Finance Manager
Main Duties are:
- Perform general accounting activities, including operation of the general ledger system, journal entries, and month-end closing.
- Ensure data completeness and accuracy according to the Corporate procedures and timeframe.
- Maintaining accounts receivable files and records.
- Support the Sales Team in payment term negotiation and collections.
- Monitor and manage timely (daily) overdue and account receivables: communicate to the sales force and financial controller, adopt the correct collection procedures, and monitor insolvent positions.
- Verifying receivables balances and monitoring the customer’s balance confirmation.
- Assure, on a daily basis, the consistency between bank statement transactions and Customer statements.
- Assure the consistency between bank statements and the G/L bank account.
- Preparing aging and related financial reports.
- Maintain and update properly the A/R statement, such as due dates, payment methods, litigations
- Assisting in general financial management and analysis.
- Contribute to process improvements at all levels to increase the efficiency and quality of all aspects of the accounting and reporting functions.
- Managing the balance sheet reconciliation review.
- Work closely on tax return preparation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Accounting / English Section is a must
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting.
- Fluent in English
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Proactive and confident in identifying problems and solutions
- SAP user is a plus
