Job Description
- Determine Needs using the knowledge to determine & review any changes that impact material or supplier, to adjust stocks accordingly.
- Choosing the appropriate suppliers to purchase from. Managing extensive research, hold meeting with salespeople & suppliers and compares their products to prices, delivery terms & payment methods as well, ensuring the best suppliers database that fulfill the company needs.
- Negotiate Prices after selecting the best vendors and Award Contracts & perform all related paper & Admin work.
- Managing Suppliers performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness. Reviewing suppliers periodically, and launch improvement plans when required. Procurement Engineers must always be
- Developing new ways to eliminate waste and max in the supply chain.
Job Requirements
- Related previous Experience in, procurement and operations from 3 to 5 years.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills & reports writing.
- Proficiency with personal computers and networking, specifically Microsoft Excel & word.
- Ability to analyze bills of material and projects drawings to understand key requirements of each project.
- Knowledge and direct experience in negotiating contracts and quotations with Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers.
- Ability to acquire cost reduction opportunities.
