Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Under the direction of the HR Director of the company, develops, implements, and updates personnel policies, procedures, and forms.  Stays current with laws and regulations affecting personnel issues, employment practices or trends and recommends new or revised policies and procedures as appropriate.
  • Assists and supports department managers and all their employees regarding personnel issues.  Answers employee questions regarding personnel policies, procedures, and benefits; researches and disseminates topical or timely information to managers and/or employees on personnel issues.
  • Coordinates and assists with employee recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training; ensures completion of all appropriate paperwork for new employees.
  • Coordinates and assists manager with employee reviews and performance appraisals.  Coordinates and participates in completion of terminations and exit interviews. Establishes and maintains personnel records and reports; maintains Units’ organization charts and employee directory.
  • Helps in forecasting annual budget for HR department to get approval.
  • Performs other related duties as required or as assigned.
  1. Recruitment:
  • Screens all incoming CVs.
  • Conducts Phone interviews with accepted applications to junior and senior positions.
  • Conducts 1st and 2nd interviews to junior positions.
  • Conducts Exit interviews trying to retain the employee and identify the reason of turnover.
  • Sends internal announcements for new hires.
  • Sends promotion announcements.
  • Prepares Job offer letters to accepted candidates.
  • Attends employment fairs.
  • Meet company Recruitment needs in a timely manner and with the highest quality.

2. Personnel System

  • Participates in the design, development and improvement of personnel filing system for both Staff & Instructors, which guarantees easy retrieval and constant updates.
  • Oversees personnel files’ update with all emerging documents such as Performance Appraisals, Warnings and Incident Reports, Recognition Letters, Personnel Change Notice, Vacation Requests, Assets Liability and the like.
  • Ensures personnel policy application.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration is required.
  • 1 years’ experience in HR field is a must.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Leadership skills are beneficial.
  • Familiarity with personnel standards and regulations at the governmental level is required;
