Job Description

  • Assist line managers with the review of safe work method statements, safety operating procedures and risk assessments to ensure they are maintained.
  • Implementing environmental policies and practices and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation.
  • Prepare and execute HSE audits and reviews on all sites.
  • Conduct and coordinate on-site inspections, audit physical conditions and safe work practices as well as conducting yearly risk assessments
  • Perform audits on ISO and Process Safety Management.
  • Receive, review and distribute safety inspection reports with recommended corrective actions.
  • Investigate Incidents, determine root cause and develop corrective action
  • Periodically pass through the various work sites applying the rules and technical instruction to ensure the safety of employees and monitor the compliance of employees with these rules.
  • Maintain recorded keeping systems, conduct inspections and audits, participate in accident investigations and emergency response.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or any equivalent Degree
  •  Minimum 3-5 years of HSE relevant experience (Constructions / Safety Management Preferred).
  • Certificates in occupational health and safety – OSHA, Civil Defense & First Aid are mandatory.
  • Preferred NEBOSH or Equivalent Certificate.
  • Full knowledge of occupational safety and health laws and regulations
  • Familiar with implementation of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 and most preferable to be Lead auditor certified.
  • Good experience in dealing with legal bodies (OHS office, civil protection, environmental bodies & etc.….).
  • Excellent knowledge of HSE legislations and procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
  • Experience in Preparing reports. 
  • Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety.
  • Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
  • Working knowledge of safety management information system.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Proficient in English (Writing and Speaking) 
  • Computer & Microsoft office programs proficiency ( Excel - Word - PowerPoint) 
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  •  Excellent Communication Skills 
  • Preferably less than 30 years old.
