Job Description
- Planning Supply Chain Schedules and Initiate annual plan against forecast
- Initiate Material Requirement Plans (MRP) based on manufacturing needs, raw materials & packaging materials inventories and delivery lead time.
- Working with RD, QC and QA departments to integrate new materials and suppliers.
- Managing the purchasing of active & in-active raw materials, packaging materials, standards, reagents and columns required based on planned demand.
- Follow-up Delivery of Materials from Shipping till its delivery.
- Managing Order Placement Timing, Supply/Demand Alignment and Material Replenishment.
- Development of sourcing strategies with continuous monitoring, evaluating and improving suppliers' performance.
- Follow-up cycle of Materials from its delivery till its release
- Monitoring of production Plan including manufacturing companies visit for thorough follow up.
- Measuring actual manufacturing performance vs. planned production schedules on daily/monthly basis and present the results to company’s top management. Reviewing the yield of each manufactured batch.
- Reviewing actual sales versus forecast and trying all possible means to optimize stock coverage.
- Supplier relation Management, to achieve best relation and best cost for the products.
- Daily or weekly Follow-up for Finished product Stock against forecast with distribution department.
- Daily Follow-up material stock against MRP
- Daily Follow-up with supply chain Team and improving them strategy.
- Prepare (Annual – Semester – Quarter – Month – Week) Report about productivity for top Management
- Supervise writing and updating supply chain SOPs
- Monitoring all products distribution for allover warehouses.
- Tracking inventories throughout the supply chain and provide transaction/inventory status to top management.
- Monitoring inventory levels for efficient working capital management and identification of excess and obsolete materials.
- Conducting scientific office and distribution department to ensure effective sales forecast and stock management.
- Handling the ordering process for new products and ensure its timely availability for launch, taking into consideration the price approval and regulatory timelines, ensuring the best possible remaining shelf.
- Communicate with Registration department as a cross function, so the regulatory knowledge is a must.
- Communication:
- Internal with the operation team.
- External with the CMOs and others as per requirements.
Job Requirements
- At least 10 years’ experience in the same field.
- Bachelor degree of pharmacy or science or others
- Good command of English.
- Excellent computer skills and office package.
- Male only.
