Job Description

  • Supervise the application of policies, standards and plans, prepare rules, regulations and technical instructions that should be followed in the field of Occupational Health and safety and coordinate with the concerned authorities. Submit the approved periodic reports to the executive management.
  • Supervising the application of requirements, standards and occupational safety in coordination with the competent authorities.
  • Supervising the implementation of the team distribution plan to carry out periodic inspections of facilities according to the plan and supervising its implementation on the facility and its work sites to ensure the implementation of the provisions of the law and decisions regulating health aspects.
  • Supervising the implementation of programs aimed at providing workers with information and guidance on occupational health and safety, which aims to spread a culture of awareness among workers regarding the requirements and standards of Occupational Health and safety at various work sites.
  • Supervise the process of correcting violations and abuses at work sites and ensure compliance with the requirements and requirements of Occupational Health and safety at work sites.
  • To supervise communication and coordination with government and local authorities concerned with ensuring the work environment, safety and occupational health and coordinate work tasks and joint projects in the field of Occupational Health and safety at work sites.
  • Supervise the application and analysis of periodic statistics on occupational health and safety activity and submit recommendations and proposals thereon to the director of the Department.
  • Supervising the follow-up of complaints and reports received from workers and working to address and resolve them in accordance with the approved procedures.
  • Follow-up periodical performance indicators and prepare reports of completion rates in the department and submit them to the director of the Department.
  • Identify and assess risks and identify the most appropriate means of controlling them for existing and emerging activities.
  • Develop an emergency plan and work to activate it in accordance with the laws issued in this regard.
  • Develop a detailed civil defense plan for each operation with the safety technician within the framework of the general plan defined by the safety department and follow up on its implementation.

Job Requirements

  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Extensive knowledge of Occupational Safety and health laws.
  • Ability to lead an average team
  • Ability to plan short and medium term.
  • Ability to solve intermediate problems within the Department 
  • Ability to logically analyze and make appropriate decision 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • FMCG experience is a must
