Job Description
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating new business opportunities for the company. This includes prospecting for new clients, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and presenting proposals. The BDR will also be responsible for managing the end-to-end B2B, B2C, and acquisition processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prospect for new business opportunities by developing relationships with builders, developers, property managers, and other potential clients in the interiors design field.
Drive the end-to-end B2B, B2C, and acquisition processes.
Identify and research potential business opportunities.
Coordinate with pricing team to develop mutually beneficial proposals.
Make and give presentations to prospective clients and customers.
Understand and use marketing material production processes.
Research and establish partnerships with other companies.
Prepare and present proposals in a complete and professional manner, according to company standards.
Ensure all estimates are prepared and approved as needed prior to presenting to customers.
Job Requirements
- 6+ Months of experience in business development or a related field.
- Strong sales and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Experience in the construction, development, or property management industries.
- Experience with CRM software.
- Experience with marketing material production.
- The interior design field is a plus.
