Job Description
- Oversee the planning, organization, and implementation of systems designed to receive, store and supply merchandise or products.
- Monitor the life cycle of products, including preparation, shipping, and receiving.
- Manage the link between the organization and shipping companies.
- Follow-up issuance of licenses for all shipments, vehicles, and drivers.
- Develop a shipping plan to achieve the best results with the lowest cost.
- Establish efficient routes and transportation schedules.
- Coordinate Drivers and on-staff maintenance professionals when setting employee schedules.
- Monitor Drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practices.
- Provide reports to management on budgeting, schedules, shipments, and fleet progress.
- Develop methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree.
- Experience from 4-6 years prefers in the Logistics industry.
- Good in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular.)
- Good English skills.
- Knowledge of ERP Systems is a plus
