Raya Data Center: one of Raya’s subsidiaries is hiring Oracle Database Administrator:

What will you do?

 

  • Install, tune and maintain Oracle Database 
  • Design and implement back-up strategies including using (hot back-ups, archives, RMAN)
  • Test programs or databases, correct errors, DB daily check administration tasks and make necessary modifications 
  • Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure
  • Work as part of a project team to review procedures in database management system manuals, coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations for making changes to database
  • Specify users and user access levels for each segment of database
  • Select and enter codes to monitor database performance and to create production database
  • Manage the Oracle Applications & DB user responsibilities 
  • Follow the ISMS policies, procedures and all other ISMS requirements
  • Report advanced errors, communicate with Oracle support till fix errors and document cases and assigned tasks

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in Database administration
  • B.Sc. degree in engineering (computer/communication) or computer science
  • OCP is a must
  • Sun Solaris is plus
  • Oracle financials is an added plus
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Data Base, DBMS & Oracle Product
  • Good knowledge of Unix operating system, Oracle E-business Suite and Oracle RAC
  • Basic knowledge of Oracle Development
