Job Description
We are looking for an organized and goal-oriented restaurant general manager to oversee the running of our restaurant branches (Elsheikh Zayed and Dokki). The restaurant general manager is responsible for finding suitable staff and training them, keeping a record of all income and expenses, and working with kitchen staff to develop a menu.
As a restaurant general manager you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service and ensures that customers are satisfied while managing back-of-house priorities.
Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation
- Deliver superior guest services
- Ensuring guest satisfaction
- Plan and develop guest loyalty programs
- Plan new and update existing menus
- Plan and develop the overall restaurant marketing strategy
- Participate at local food events
- Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Manage and lead staff
- Hire new employees
- Training and evaluate staff performance
- Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory
- Manage restaurant supplies
- Control costs and minimize waste
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions
- Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales
Job Requirements
- A degree in business management/hospitality and tourism or equivalent
- Fluent English (Writing and Communication)
- Prior experience in the restaurant industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work long hours.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping Fundamentals.
- Good Computer Skills (Word/Excel/Google Sheets)
- Excellent customer service skills.
