Job Description
- Responsible for organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehoused goods.
- Coordinate employee work assignments to achieve inbound and outbound service requirements.
- Direct achievement of performance objectives related to productivity, quality, service and safety.
- Perform administrative or logistical management duties in support of warehouse operation, including reconciliation of cycle count disparities, analysis of purchase orders vs. inventory received, job scheduling, inventory logistics, receiving reports, audits, etc.
- Monitor workflow, work completed, error rates and related metrics and take corrective action as required.
- Ensure procedures are observed, implemented and enforced. Ensure the quality and inspection process is accurate and excess costs are eliminated.
- Ensure a safe working environment and follow safety regulations. Ensure warehouse employees receive training.
- Ensure accurate time, attendance, and performance management records are maintained. Maintain positive employee relations and morale.
- With assistance from Human Resources, carry out performance management actions, including hiring, firing, discipline and setting of pay rates for employees.
- Assist in developing and documenting warehouse processes.
- Establish and monitor performance standards for warehouse functions, including pick, pack, and ship.
- Process returned merchandise. Establish and monitor performance standards for equipment.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years experience
- Background construction, roads & Spare Parts Is A Must.
- BS.c of Civil, Electrical or Mechanical engineer is preferable.
- PMP or MBA preferred.
