Job Description
- Leads ticketed query system and ensures comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is kept up to date.
- Resolves end-user support issues using enterprise-wide standards
and tools. - Establishes, enforces, and maintains the data entry standards.
- Conducts trainings for staff and faculty.
- Supports students in accessing and using their systems.
- Develops, supports, and manages user interfaces, applications’
backend and third-party integration components. - Gathers business requirements, functional designs, and tests cases
for support fixes, ongoing enhancements, and projects. - Creates reports and dashboards.
- Creates, maintains, and updates technical documents and procedures.
- Leads systems integrations with all project stakeholders.
- Partakes in the implementation of new solutions as per the business needs.
- Creates automated jobs for database backups and any redundant tasks.
- Assists in the development of key strategic attributes for the organization’s application roadmap.
- Liaises with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
- Assists in designing new projects as per business needs.
- Aligns and tests new projects with the vendors.
- Maintains security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Ensures compliance with IT policies & procedures.
Job Requirements
- Has a solid SQL background.
- Has a good T-SQL background.
- Has fair Database administration knowledge.
- Has a fair PHP background.
- Possess high level of testing techniques and scenarios.
- Power BI reporting tool
- Years of Experience: 3 to 6
- Education: Bachelor of Business Informatics or in any relevant field.
- Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, time management, problem-solving, and ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledge.
