Job Description
- Maintains, monitors, and supports the infrastructure environment and/or facilities.
- Installs, configures, maintains, and approves system hardware and software components.
- Manages user access to systems or applications.
- Identifies problems and optimizes performance, as needed.
- Coordinates and works on multiple cross-functional base work initiatives and projects.
- Diagnoses and resolves complex hardware, software and connectivity problems.
- Supports multiple systems or applications of medium to high complexity
- Troubleshoots problems by analyzing root causes and evaluating multiple options.
- Recommends procedures and controls for problem resolution or creates temporary solutions until permanent solutions can be implemented.
- Participates in short- and long term project efforts with stakeholders and IT groups.
- Handles multiple projects and duties simultaneously, prioritizing as needed
- Performs routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups, patch management and hot fixes.
- Administers and maintains firewalls
- Implements the plan for backup and disaster recovery for infrastructure solutions.
- Documents problem status and resolution.
Job Requirements
- Microsoft Certified “MCITP or MCSA” is a must
- Expert in Windows server services (AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS …etc.)
- Fully aware with VMWare 6
- Very good with Fortigate firewall administration
- Experience with cloud services and Google G-suit
- Good experience with Data center management (servers, SAN storages, SAN switches and core switches)
- Backup methods and DR
- Linux knowledge is a plus
- 3-5 years’ experience in the same position
- B.Sc. Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline
