Job Description
- Analyze and optimize production workflows to improve efficiency and reduce waste in denim garment manufacturing.
- Develop and implement industrial engineering strategies to enhance productivity and ensure high-quality output.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, utilizing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to introduce innovative solutions and new technologies.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and recommend process enhancements.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational targets are met.
- Design and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on best practices and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the production cycle.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management on process improvements and project outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Experience ranging from 3 to 6 years in Industrial Engineering within the garment or apparel manufacturing sector (depending on role level).
- Proven experience in implementing process improvements in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Industrial Engineering tools and strong Excel skills (Power BI is a plus for data-focused roles).
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Adaptability to new technologies and evolving production methods.
- Leadership or mentoring experience is an advantage for senior and managerial roles.
