The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategy within the pharmaceutical sector. The role will focus on strengthening brand awareness, educating healthcare professionals and patients, driving customer engagement, and supporting product launches across digital channels. This position requires strong expertise in pharma marketing regulations, digital platforms, performance marketing, and analytics tools to ensure compliant and impactful campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategy tailored to the pharmaceutical sector.
- Plan annual and quarterly digital campaigns with focus on compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure alignment of campaigns with product launch plans and business objectives.
- Manage paid campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, healthcare platforms) to maximize ROI while adhering to pharma advertising guidelines.
- Optimize campaigns to reach healthcare professionals, distributors, and patients effectively.
- Conduct A/B testing and track digital engagement to refine targeting strategies.
- Oversee the creation of compliant digital content (medical education, product info, awareness campaigns).
- Manage company’s presence across social media platforms in line with
- pharmaceutical regulations.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging that aligns with healthcare communication standards.
- Monitor and optimize the websites for performance, lead generation, and patient/HCP education.
- Coordinate with IT and design teams to ensure website accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor KPIs including campaign reach, engagement, conversions, and ROI.
- Prepare performance dashboards and reports using Google Analytics, CRM, and BI tools.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Work closely with sales, medical, regulatory, and product management teams to ensure digital initiatives are aligned with sector requirements.
- Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to deliver digital campaigns within pharma compliance frameworks.
- Train internal teams on digital tools, trends, and compliance requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, including at least 3 years in pharma or healthcare industry.
- Strong expertise with tools such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads, HubSpot, and Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing regulations and compliance (local & international).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken & written).
