Aircraft Painter

To carry out painting on flydubai aircraft and Ground Service Equipment (GSE) in Dubai in accordance with flydubai standards and regulatory requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Key Activities 

• Carries out painting and decal installations as assigned by the Certifying Engineer in accordance with approved data and procedures.
• Ensures that the required documentation, parts, tools and GSE are obtained and used per issued instructions.
• Ensures that the proper tooling & equipment is drawn from stores to perform tasks, returning all of it in good condition following completion of work.
• Manages the safety of own assigned maintenance tasks, ensuring all published mandatory precautions are taken prior to commencing work and during task execution.
• Takes positive steps to protect self and other persons in the area of the maintenance activity from any possible injury, including the use of proper GSE and protective equipment.
• Adheres to human factors aspects of maintenance, ensuring adequate access and lighting is used for maintenance and inspections.
• Completes painting assignment of GSE as required.
• May be involved in other additional tasks in the relevant area of operation as directed by Management.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
 
Minimum Qualification

• Higher secondary school

Experience 

• At least 2 years previous experience in similar role essential

Knowledge / Skills 

• Any painting related training

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
