Job Description
OYA Energy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Affairs & HR Officer to support the company’s corporate governance, legal coordination, and human resources operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with local regulations, coordinating with external legal and governmental entities and support the development and execution of HR policies.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Affairs:
- Coordinate with external legal counsel regarding contracts, corporate documents, and compliance matters.
- Manage all dealings with the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), including submissions, follow-ups, and approvals.
- Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assembly meetings, including notices, agendas, minutes of meetings, and resolutions.
- Handle company registrations, amendments, renewals, and official governmental documentation.
- Maintain and organize corporate records, licenses, board resolutions, and shareholders’ documents.
- Support management in corporate governance and regulatory compliance activities.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and governmental authorities when required.
Human Resources:
- Manage recruitment processes including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Prepare and maintain employee files, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian Labor Law and internal HR policies.
- Handle social insurance registration, forms, and follow-up with relevant authorities.
- Support payroll coordination, attendance records, leaves, and disciplinary procedures.
- Assist in developing HR policies, job descriptions, and performance evaluation systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience in dealing with the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI).
- Hands-on experience in preparing and managing Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assemblies.
- 3–5 years of experience in Corporate Affairs and/or HR (experience in industrial, engineering, or energy sector is a strong advantage).
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law and corporate governance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and follow-up skills.
- Strong communication skills in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
