Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team in a company specializing in the contracting industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
- Managing financial operations.
- Preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local accounting and tax regulations.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, with proven expertise in the contracting, construction, or engineering project industries.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or ERP systems like Odoo or ERPNext.
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulations in Saudi Arabia.
- Experience in preparing tax reports and handling VAT compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage costs for large-scale projects.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
