Job Description
The logistics officer is responsible for:
• Coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations
• Ensuring premises, assets and communications are used effectively
• Utilizing logistics IT to optimize shipping and transport procedures
• Manage orders and arrange stocking of raw materials to ensure they meet needs
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
• Plan and track the shipment according to customer requirements
• Keep logs and records of open orders, orders in transit, executed orders etc.
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management
• Resolving any problems or complaints, meeting cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets, maintaining metrics and analyzing data to assess performance and implement improvements, Complying with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
Job Requirements
- Experience from 5 - 7 years.
- Bachelor’s degree in administration, logistics, or related field preferred.
- Relevant professional certification is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements.
- Excellent English and Arabic language level both spoken and written.
- Excellent user of Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, and ERP system practical experience is a must.
