Job Description
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- store materials in designated areas to ensure easy identification and accessibility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs and inventory software.
- Issue materials to site staff as per material requisition slips.
- Monitor stock levels and notify the project manager or procurement team of low inventory or near expiration date.
- Ensure materials are protected from damage, theft, or loss.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the storage area.
- Coordinate with suppliers , purchasing and logistics teams for delivery and return of items.
- Adhere to safety and security protocols at all times.
- Adhere warehouse policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 -5 years of experience
- Proven experience as a storekeeper in a construction or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with operating computerized record keeping systems
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Physically fit to handle manual tasks.
- Good Knowledge of MS Office, ERP System (ODOO software is an advantage).
