Job Description

Beinex is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Data Science Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of 8-10 members and actively contribute to project execution, applying cutting-edge data science methodologies to drive impactful solutions.

Requirements

Responsibilities

+ Supervising multiple Data Science teams in executing client-based projects
+ Demonstrating proficiency in Python and SQL
+ Analyzing extensive volumes of raw data to identify patterns crucial for solving our clients' most pressing business challenges
+ Being highly analytical, displaying adeptness in mathematical and statistical analysis
+ Possessing critical thinking and problem-solving prowess for data interpretation
+ An inherent enthusiasm for Machine Learning and research is also desired
+ Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
+ Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data
+ Analyse large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
+ Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
+ Combine models through ensemble modelling
+ Present information using data visualization techniques
+ Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
+ Collaborate with engineering and product development teams

Key Skills Requirements

+ 5+ years of Data Science experience
+ Proficiency in developing Machine Learning algorithms
+ Capability to manage customer expectations
+ Expertise in data mining
+ Understanding of Machine Learning and operations research
+ Knowledge in R, SQL, and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java, or C++ is advantageous.
+ Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop)
+ Strong analytical skills and business acumen
+ Problem-solving abilities
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills
+ Familiarity and experience with statistical and data mining techniques such as GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.
+ Proficiency in querying databases and utilizing statistical computer languages like R, Python, SQL, etc.
+ Experience with web services like Redshift, S3, Spark, DigitalOcean, etc.
+ Capability in creating and utilizing advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics such as regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
+ Experience in analyzing data from 3rd party providers such as Google Analytics, Site Catalyst, Coremetrics, Adwords, Crimson Hexagon, Facebook Insights, etc.
+ Familiarity with distributed data/computing tools like Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL, etc.
+ Proficiency in Deep Learning models for audio and visual data analytics
