Job Description
- Provide supervision and direction to subordinate pharmacists and non-pharmacist
- Ensure the compliance with the rules of the hospital
- Forecasting demand of medications and send it to supply chain
- Collaborate with I.P supervisor to provide continuity of care for patients.
- Works with human resource in handling employee attendance and problems
- Responsible for the preparation of department staffs schedule and assignment.
- Make staffing and scheduling adjustment to meet volume and workload demands with collective bargaining agreements
- Provide regular communication and feedback to the staff
- Participate in designing implementing and evaluating system, processes and methods to enhance quality and improve service.
- Perform the duties of all subordinate employees and other duties as required.
- Ensure the continuous supply of medications and adjust with storekeeper the regularly orders from stores.
- Supervise the inventory, Track discrepancies and apply daily and monthly stock take.
- Continuous supervise for the expiry date of medications and coordinate with doctors to prescribe it and supply chain to communicate with suppliers.
- Closely observe patients complains ,follow it and resolve it
- Ensure all claims for medical insurance companies is complete to prevent any financial loss.
- Day by day revise the staff bills and confirm it is comply with the rules of hospital.
- Day by day ensure all shifts are closed and have gone to cashier.
- Day by day observe discharge medication for patient who will discharge status and confirm it done smoothly.
- Day by day follow new trends for doctors.
- Communicate with doctors and supply chain for slow-moving and non-moving items.
- Establish OP list medications and provide update every 3 months
- Distribute updated OP list on consultants, doctors and supply chain.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor degree of pharmacy.
- Certification: MOH License of practice .
- Experience: 7 years of experience with 3 at least in the same role “preferred in hospitals ”

- Ability to demonstrate and apply knowledge of contemporary out-patient pharmacy operations , principles, and standards including clinical, professional, legal , business and public relations aspects.
