Job Description
- Implement a development plan to target evaluations of security gaps in an organization’s policies and procedures, including tabletop testing and training for employees.
- Analyze existing security systems and make recommendations for changes or improvements.
- Work with other teams including security teams to achieve targets.
- Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure.
- Install security software and understand information security management.
- Analyzing security breaches to identify the root cause.
- Use computer forensic tools to examine and analyze electronic media in suspected hacking cases.
- Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
- Conduct security audits on the systems, including performing.
penetration testing tasks, network forensics and risk assessment and analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Good analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g. NIST Cybersecurity framework) and risk management methodologies.
- Experience in information security or related field.
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
- Understanding of firewalls, SIEM, Antivirus, EPP, EDR and IDPS concepts.
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
- Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact.
- Willingness to work on-call in the event of a security breech or other emergency.
