Job Description

  • Responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, operating, administering, generating new workflows if required, and upgrading SharePoint infrastructure services.
  • First line of support to all implemented SharePoint infrastructure services.
  • Maintaining high level of availability and quality standards/levels on company’s SharePoint infrastructure services.
  • Analyzing business needs and translating them to a technical vision on the SharePoint platform/infrastructure, and into actual projects and feasible plans (business/technical analysis).
  • Responsible on carrying out the development of newly agreed SharePoint projects and\or promoting the existing portals/solutions for additional and better functionality.
  • Innovating and coming up with new ideas that serve the best interest of the business using the capabilities of SharePoint platform.
  • Being the first line of support and troubleshooting to the existing and newly innovated SharePoint infrastructure components.
  • Responsible for all relevant documentations to SharePoint Infrastructure including code, configuration manuals and user manuals.
  • Responsible for the testing and quality assurance for all SharePoint relevant development activities when\if delivered by an external partner.
  • Actively Log and track details of solutions\tasks according to reporting standards and procedures.
  • Comply with the corporate internal system, rules, policies, processes, and procedures.

Job Requirements

Required Personal Profile & Qualifications:

  • University degree in addition to IT courses relevant to the job is a must - Microsoft Certified professional Developer (MCDP), similar, or higher.
  • 5 years of proven and strong experience in SharePoint and/or lead. Net Consulting experience (including customized code, and creating/modifying web parts, creating /modifying SharePoint workflows).
  • At least 1 year experience in documenting software defects using a bug tracking system and reporting defects.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software testing, functional testing, user acceptance testing, or other development testing experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing custom modules using SharePoint object model; ASP.Net and/or.Net 4.0/4.5 development experience.
  • Able to demonstrate experience that includes a heavy focus on portal, collaboration, enterprise integration and architecture with a specific focus on SharePoint 2019 on premise and office 365/SharePoint online and Microsoft technologies.
  • Has worked on or led an effort integrating SharePoint with another system such as MS ERP.
  • Ability to know when SharePoint is not the right solution for a business problem/requirement and can communicate this effectively.
  • Experience building custom SharePoint web parts and custom SharePoint Visual Studio workflows·  Understanding of building SharePoint customizations using site definitions, custom content types, features and solution packages.
  • Good understanding in Windows Communication Foundation and Windows Workflow Foundation.
  • Thorough knowledge of working with Business Data Catalogue; experience working with Business Connectivity Services in SharePoint 2010·
  • Self-motivated – willing to ask questions, offer up new ideas, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
  • Good linguistic skills in both Arabic& English, verbal, reading and writing.
  • Ability to balance multiple conflicting priorities and make decisions.
  • Must be able to maintain focus whilst under pressure.
  • Clear and concise communicator.

  • Ability to act as part of a team, and in close coordination with direct manager.
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to new technologies and still keep a technical edge.
