Job Description
- Develop and execute export sales strategies for fruits and vegetables to achieve revenue and growth targets in international markets.
- Identify, approach, and establish relationships with new overseas clients, distributors, and partners.
- Manage and expand existing export accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with international buyers in alignment with company policies and profitability goals.
- Collaborate with supply chain, quality control, and production teams to ensure timely fulfillment of export orders meeting freshness and quality standards..
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all export regulations, documentation, and quality standards required by destination countries.
- Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and business development events to promote the company’s fresh produce portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize product offerings and address customer feedback.
- Develop and implement comprehensive export sales strategies for fresh fruits and vegetables across global markets.
- Monitor fresh produce market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and challenges.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of export sales experience in fresh fruits and vegetables or related fresh produce sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of export regulations, customs requirements, and logistics specific to fresh agricultural products.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with international clients and partners.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation skills and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Proven success in building international client networks and managing export sales cycles
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
