Job Description
- Execute planning delivery timetables.
- Responsible for preparing and processing all documents and permits needed to clear goods (shipping documents, insurance, bank forms, etc....)
- Processing (ACID) applications on the NAFEZE platform for imported shipments (Carefully follow Nafeza instruction to avoid any issues)
- Audit freight cost to ensure the best rate.
- Effectively follow up internally with various teams & departments, and externally with the bank, forwarders, clearing agents and insurance brokers on all issues related to shipment delays, to ensure smooth provision of services.
- Track and trace shipments at every stage (monitor daily import activities) to ensure that they arrive at their destinations in a precise and timely manner.
- Assessing goods to make sure that they arrive in the required format and transfer any observation /complaints to supplier.
- Maintain accurate updated data related to Logistics activities to ensure that statistics are established.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of import execution regulations and Customs Tariff.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply Chain or relevant field.
- 2-5 years of experience in logistics.
- Very good English and Arabic reading/writing skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Well-motivated and can work under pressure.
- Loss identification, problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- High organizational skills and ability to multitask.
