Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Full Payroll Cycle:
- Handle the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
- Verify salary calculations, deductions, allowances, overtime, and variable elements.
Review and Validate Payroll Inputs:
- Collect and review all payroll-impacting data such as attendance, bonuses, commissions, penalties, and deductions.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure all inputs are correct before finalizing payroll.
Ensure Compliance and Accuracy:
- Maintain compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare payroll reports and ensure accurate submission to relevant authorities.
Manage Employee Benefits Programs:
- Oversee medical insurance, social insurance, and other benefit schemes.
- Ensure proper enrollment, renewals, and employee communication.
Maintain Compensation Records and Reports:
- Update and maintain the salary structure and grading system.
- Support salary reviews, benchmarking, and compensation analysis.
Handle Payroll Audits and Reconciliations:
- Prepare monthly reconciliations between payroll and accounting records.
- Respond to audit requests and ensure proper documentation.
Support Continuous Improvement:
- Recommend improvements to payroll and benefits processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide guidance and training to HR team members on payroll procedures.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in establishing compensation and benefits operations from scratch, including setting up systems, processes, and policies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all compensation and benefits functions, including payroll management, job evaluation, salary structure design, and grading systems.
- Strong understanding of salary benchmarking, job pricing, and market analysis.
- Hands-on experience in managing the full payroll cycle and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in HR systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
