Job Description
- Attend progress meetings, discuss and suggest technical proposals.
- Liaise between the construction and technical office teams ensuring the harmony between technical office team requirements and construction team deliverables.
- Review and approve the material request and method of the statement according to project specs.
- Review and approve shop drawing and quantity survey submittals.
- Review and resolve project document issues/conditions.
- Adopt a proactive approach to value engineering throughout the engineering phase.
- Review and supervise the shop drawings and coordination.
- Provide technical & administrative information to the project teams to ensure that the work corresponds to all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction.
- Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures.
- Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.).
- Coordinate with other trades to solve any conflict between various Engineering disciplines.
- Update the shop drawing log before sending the shop drawing to consultant for approvals.
- Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
- Review sub-contractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.
- Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the Technical Office Manager for discussion and proper solve.
- Prepare material submittal in conjunction with material to be and approved by the consultant.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree of Engineering; Civil / Arch Department
- 5-7 years of experience
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience of dealing with complex shopdrawing.
- Must be professional in Revit,BIM.CAD
