Job Description
-Design, implement, and maintain relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL).
- Optimize database performance, queries, and storage to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Develop and maintain database objects (schemas, tables, stored procedures, triggers, views).
- Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Ensure data security, access control, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues (performance bottlenecks, connectivity, integrity).
- Collaborate with software developers, system administrators to support application needs.
- Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and version control.
- Document database standards, best practices, and configurations.
Job Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience from 3–4 years of experience in database engineering, administration, or development.
• Fluent English is a must.
• Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS/Azure Database certifications) are a plus.
• Strong experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Proven expertise in database performance tuning, replication, clustering, and high availability solutions.
