Job Description
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of on-campus and off-campus events, ensuring alignment with the college’s mission and objectives.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events, programs, and initiatives to internal and external audiences.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external vendors to ensure seamless event logistics and successful outcomes.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Create compelling content for event invitations, promotional materials, and digital campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and event outcomes, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate event registration, attendee communications, and post-event follow-up to maximize engagement and satisfaction.
- Maintain and update event calendars, marketing databases, and contact lists to ensure accurate and timely information dissemination.
- Ensure all events comply with college policies, safety regulations, and brand standards.
- Support the marketing team with additional projects and initiatives as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of proven experience in marketing, event coordination, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and event management software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Experience managing budgets and negotiating with vendors.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required for event execution.
