Planning & Scheduling Engineer

· Understanding project specifications and developing time schedules and budgets that meet them.
· Negotiating with vendors and contractors to secure the best prices.
· Observing existing processes, analyzing staff performance, and addressing deficiencies accordingly.
· Monitoring and tracking project progress, and writing up reports.
· Attending and scheduling meetings as required.
· Delegating tasks and ensuring workers receive feedback.
· Understanding and meeting all contract requirements.
· Communicating with managers, supervisors, and the rest of the team.
· Supervise Equipment and Material procurement involved in yard operations.
· Plans and provides work direction, as required, for the preparation of Planning and Scheduling Control Systems to provide Engineering and Construction supervisors the means to evaluate and improve the efficiency of their project execution
· Analyze Major Capital Projects to plan the most effective execution sequence.
· Evaluate the planning and scheduling information collected from Project Management Teams or Contractors, and advise Management of exceptions to the plan and potential corrective action and/or impacts to the project
· Provides Planning and Scheduling functions in a professional manner in accordance Magnom standards. 
· Analyzing technical drawings and providing material and cost estimates.
· Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budgets.
