About MSF

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent medical humanitarian organization providing emergency aid to people affected by armed conflicts, epidemics, natural disasters, and exclusion from healthcare in more than 70 countries worldwide. MSF operates based on medical ethics, neutrality, and impartiality, offering assistance regardless of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation.

MSF Activities

  • Provide basic healthcare and surgical services
  • Fight epidemics and conduct vaccination campaigns
  • Rehabilitate hospitals and clinics
  • Operate nutrition centers and provide mental healthcare
  • Maternal care and treatment of injuries and diseases
  • Implement sanitation systems and provide safe drinking water
  • Distribute humanitarian relief for survival assistance

What is the International Mobile Staff Pool?

As part of MSF’s International Mobile Staff Pool, you will be deployed to various MSF projects globally. Each assignment lasts between 6 to 12 months, often in remote, resource-limited, and challenging environments. Staff members in this pool must demonstrate flexibility, commitment, and a personal willingness to work in diverse and sometimes difficult circumstances.

 

 

Job Requirements

Eligibility Criteria

  • Residency: Applicants must reside in Lebanon or Egypt and hold a valid work permit. Nationality is not a restriction.
  • Commitment: Willingness to work on 6 to 12-month missions in remote and challenging environments.

     

Qualifications and Competencies

Education:

  • University degree in the relevant specialization you are applying for.
  • For Medical Pool roles, a Master’s degree is required.
  • Master’s degree and/or postgraduate qualifications are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the relevant specialization.
  • Experience with INGO and/or NGO is a plus.
  • People management experience is considered an advantage.

Languages:

  • Arabic (required)
  • English (Upper intermediate level required)
  • French, Spanish, Portuguese, and/or German are considered a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
