Job Description
- Installs and maintains software and hardware.
- Provide first level of support.
- Support and troubleshooting all infrastructure issues.
- Support windows and Microsoft Office 365 products (Installation, maintenance, and support).
- Make and follow up the new IT purchase requests.
- Provide help-desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose issues, ensure proper installation of cables and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networks (LAN/WAN), or any other systems.
- Oversee the performance of computer systems and perform random checks to maintain smooth computer operation.
- Install, test, and configure new workstations & Laptops, peripheral equipment, and software.
- Provide the troubleshooting of any internet issues related to the network (Physical or logical connection) or related to system issues.
- Edit and update the configurations of Firewalls (Fortinet, pfSense) if needed.
Job Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English.
- CCNA, MCSA (Must).
- 2+ Years of experience in the same field.
- Hands on experience to help and follow up with some of MS SQL server issues.
- Good Knowledge of 365 Microsoft products.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Experience in help-desk troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
- Good Knowledge of servers (DC - DNS - DHCP, etc..).
- Good Knowledge of configuration network hardware.
- Good Knowledge of networking (OSI - IP Address – Subletting – etc..).
- Basics Knowledge of network security using (AV, Fortinet and pfSense FWs) is preferred.
- Basic Knowledge of MS SQL server 2017 : 2019 (Preferred).
- Self-motivated and organized.
- Perfect communication skills.
- Prepares and presents technical information reports.
