Role Description
This is a full-time Video Editor role, based on-site in Egypt, Hadayek Al Ahram . The Video Editor will be responsible for :
- Edit videos coverage of events and conferences for documentation as well as preparation of highlight videos for these events
- Follow the briefs provided by the crew and clients needs and instructions to fulfill the messages needed from these videos
- Review shooting script and raw material to select the best shots to be used in accordance with the script or the message that needs to be conveyed
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video
- Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
- Create rough and final cuts
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Add subtitles when needed
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a video editor
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut , Photoshop)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
- BS degree in Mass communication , film studies, cinematography or related field
- Experience : 02- 04 years
- Preferable areas : Hadayek Al Ahram- 6th oof October -El Sheikh Zayied- Haram -Faisal- Maniel -Maadi- Downtown - Dokki- Mohandessin
