Job Description

Job Scope:

  • The E-commerce Lead will support our regional marketing operations across Egypt, Saudi & Lebanon. The role will be mainly overseeing and managing the performance financial and operational performance of sales occurring through digital platforms for end users and dealers (Online Store, eDealers, and Mobile Application). Create and implement strategies that optimize and increase efficient and successful online transactions. In addition to organize, develop, execute, monitor and report website marketing plans with increasingly profitable ROI.  

Job Description:

  • Manage sales, functionality, and user experience of ASJC digital sales channels: Online Store, eDealers, and Mobile Application.
  • Develop periodic and frequent reporting of traffic, sales, and user experience per channel.
  • Constantly keep up with trends and developments in order to execute the best marketing tactics and strategies for your business.
  • Manage content and product uploads, category builds, content detail maintenance, and promotional activities in alignment with Marketing, IT, and beneficiary business stakeholders.
  • Raise traffic and awareness of ASJC digital sales channels through planning and cross-functional alignment with concerned stakeholders.
  • Be highly involved in UAT site testing for development projects and the regular site walks to ensure 100% accuracy at all times.
  • Work with marketing to ensure seasonal adaptation and communication to ensure thematic, engaging, and always refreshed look and feel, including Mobile Application visualization.
  • Collaborate with the digital team for onsite optimizations such as product recommendations, upselling/cross-selling opportunities, and search improvements.
  • Monitor and report direct and indirect competitive analysis to maintain a healthy brand positioning and sales performance across the seasons.
  • Reporting on e-Commerce trade performance including financial and operational KPIs, providing data-driven insight, sales campaign performance, and conducting deep dives were needed to better understand shopping behaviors and trends.
  • Reporting on Mobile Application performance separately to evaluate product vs. service performance.
  • Plan ongoing Mobile Application notification calendar for products, services, and e-commerce offer to push more attraction and transactions.
  • Develop a digital sales channel Marketing Activity Calendar to achieve agreed-on KPIs.
  • Track and control e-Commerce expenses and budget while working closely with the digital team to reduce the cost per click and increase the number of transactions.
  • Write and edit product content that will be published across digital sales channels.
  • Set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance.
  • Provide support in other areas of Email Marketing and user experience.
  • Automate the tracking and work closely with IT to integrate sales software with the e-Commerce performance.

Job Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant solid experience in the field.
  • Experience with E-commerce marketing, digital sales drivers, and channel management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of web technologies, browsers, analytics, reporting, and content management systems and processes.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent level of English both written & verbal.
