Job Description
- The Technical Leader (TL) provides technical support for team. Support also includes offering any required assistance in designing innovative ideas during the problem-solving process.
- Ensuring the excellence of their teams as well as ensuring that their team remains innovative.
- Generate better ideas that keep your business more competitive in the market and monitor team performance and evaluate the progress occasionally as a way of ensuring excellence.
- Technical Leader is technically responsible for a complete system or a part of a complex sub-system (domain) for its specifications, design, code, test and integration.
- Technical Leader leads implementation technically, driving the Architecture/SRS/Detailed Design, ensuring that implementation correspond requirements and quality goals.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Luxoft Automotive LOB processes (leader)
- Support Luxoft pre-sales and R&D activities (i.e. estimations, proposal preparation, ideas generation)
- Effectively handle customer queries related to designs and specifications.
- Take lead roles in newcomers interviewing (lead). · Ability to analyze / fix difficult SW Problems - especially those that concerns design/interface issues across multiple modules. · Initiate, register and analyze CRQs (if any)
- Ability to raise system level issues during sub-system implementation and work for their resolution with the system design team
- Takes part in SAD/SDD elaboration and verification activities, including establish and maintain traceability, ensure consistency between SW units and SW requirements, SDD and SAD, SW units and SDD.
- Define evaluation criteria and evaluate SDD according to previously defined criteria · Training / Mentoring / Coaching for spreading technical expertise · Reviewing work products (source code, documents) produced by team.
Job Requirements
Must have skills:
- The following are in addition to the ones outlined for Senior Software Engineer:
- Deep expertise and practical usage design patterns, UML
- Very deep expertise in at least one implementation areas.
- Strong understanding of SW engineering, testability, quality etc.
- Ability to review engineering work products (system specifications, design, test strategy/plan, code) from a technology domain point of view to identify gaps.
- Expert at identifying critical areas of design/code / test and critically reviewing them for due attention by the development team.
- Ability to analyze/fix difficult SW Problems - especially those that concerns design/interface issues across multiple modules.
- Ability to raise system-level issues during sub-system implementation and work for their resolution with the system design team

- Advanced C++ knowledge, C++ 17 mandatory
