Job Description

Strategy and Planning: 

  • Developing Agrisolar’s sales strategy.
  • Setting sales objectives and targets based on the strategic direction of the company and the sales strategy as well as communicating them with the sales team annually and quarterly; 
  • Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the full sales cycles as well as providing the sales team with training and tools to effectively implement the processes and achieve the sales targets.
  • Working closely with the business development, procurement and market teams to plan and manage demand and supply as well as innovative methods to deliver Agrisolar’s value proposition.

Execution:

  • Generating potential leads for new customers (e.g. via attending trade shows, direct recruitment, etc.), and
  • Meeting with customers in office and in site locations;
  • Providing customers with information about the company’s solar portfolio and supporting them in selecting the optimal products to suit their client’s needs;
  • Enabling customers to sell to end users who are mainly farmers, food processors, and government entities via training, business case development, product briefings, etc.;
  • Setting, tracking, and reporting individual territory plans with sales team on a weekly basis; 
  • Developing and leading the sales team to maintain  a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to document and manage activities with partners, suppliers, and clients. 

Team Management:

  • Hiring, training, overseeing the performance and providing professional development for the sales team.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales team.

Reporting to: ECO

Job Requirements

  • Male or female.
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience in Business to Business (B2B) sales or channel marketing is preferred.
  • Experience as a sales team leader in the Engineering or technology fields is highly regarded.In-depth knowledge of solar equipment and installations is preferred.Ability to travel and work irregular hours.
  • Ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers and team members.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in sales.
  • Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills.
  • Experience setting sales goals.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills[AS1] .
  • Strong written and verbal Egyptian Arabic and English.
