Job Description
- Lead WordPress development projects from concept to deployment
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
- Optimize WordPress sites for performance, security, and SEO
- Troubleshoot and debug complex WordPress issues
- Implement responsive design principles and ensure cross-browser compatibility
- Integrate third-party APIs and services with WordPress
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Experience with WordPress core, themes, and plugin development
- Knowledge of WordPress coding standards and best practices
- Experience with MySQL database optimization and management
- Proficiency in responsive design and mobile-first development
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of WordPress security best practices
- Experience with WordPress REST API and custom endpoints
- Understanding of SEO principles and implementation
- Experience with performance optimization techniques
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Experience with WordPress multisite configurations
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
