Job Description
- Prepare and review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation in accordance with project specifications and standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within overall project plans.
- Conduct technical evaluations of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Assist in the preparation of bills of quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and procurement requests for electrical components.
- Provide technical support to site teams during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Review and resolve technical queries from site teams and subcontractors related to electrical works.
- Ensure all electrical documentation is accurately maintained, updated, and archived for project records.
- Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize electrical designs and reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Monitor project progress and report on technical office activities to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, codes, and standards relevant to electrical engineering.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical office or electrical engineering role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, design principles, and construction processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design software.
- Familiarity with local and international electrical codes and standards.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
