Job Description
- Conducting fire pump tests with the electrical maintenance technician on a weekly basis.
- Confirm that all workers wear their personal protective equipment when conducting any activity inside the station, and report any violations of these instructions and escalate them to the Director of Occupational Safety and Health.
- Issuing daily work permits in coordination with the requesting department and approving the Occupational Safety and Health Officer (loading and unloading trucks, maintenance work, whether preventive or emergency / ... other)
- Follow up the implementation of the emergency plan to face any accident that may occur during shifts, in coordination with security officials.
- Safe emergency handling of stored and/or flammable hazardous chemicals.
- The HSE Officer assists in the preparation and ongoing review of emergency response.
- The Health, Safety, Security and Environment Officer assists in identifying risks and conducting risk assessment procedures for all company activities and areas.
- Follows up on the availability of adequate safety equipment and supplies while conducting activities at the station.
- Reporting accidents and near misses.
- Conducting a periodic review of the firefighting equipment at the Site through the check list form, and according to the follow-up schedule approved by Terminal Manager.
Job Requirements
- Appropriate qualification (Intermediate, Upper Intermediate, Higher).
- HSE Certifications preferable .
- Good knowledge of relevant HSE principles.
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
- Aware of local and international standards and codes.
